Philodendron Birkin

The Philodendron Birkin is popular and sought after because of its pinstripe variegated leaves and not so long ago, this plant came with a hefty pricetag. An interesting fact about the Philodendron Birkin is that it’s variegation is unstable, and over time it can produce one or more leaves that look similar to its parent plant, the Philodendron Rojo Congo. It has also been known to produce almost completely white leaves, ones with a dash of pink, or it can revert to being completely green. All this makes for a very unuque and wonderful plant. Additionally, it’s also quite easy to care for, so it won’t be too difficult to grow one into an impressive specimen.

General Care:

Philodendron Birkin care requirements include bright, indirect light, humidity of 40-70%, and well-draining soil. Water once the top inch of soil dries out, maintain temperatures of 60-85°F(16-30°C), avoid drafts, and fertilize lightly every 2-4 weeks during spring and summer.

Please kindly note:

-Plant shape and size will vary.

-Variegation will vary. Newer leaves will present more variegation with bright indirect sunlight.

-It is normal to observe some variegation to fade over time in older leaves.

-Decorative pot sold separately.
